• Forgiveness

MARK 11:25 tells us

• To forgive so God will forgive us

• This is more important than most Christians realize

JOHN 13:34-35 tells us

• To love each other

• This is also more important than most Christians realize

IT WAS ON THE CROSS THAT

• Jesus forgave us 

• Because He loves us

WHEN SOMEONE OFFENDS US

• What is the first thing we do?

• We get angry at the offender

But THAT IS the very time

• We are to love and forgive

• Just as Jesus did us

Jesus told Peter to never stop forgiving

• If we are in Christ

• And Christ is in us

• Aren’t we supposed to do the same as Christ did?

LET’S GO INTO THIS TIME OF COMMUNION

• Focusing on our love for each another

• On developing our love

• So that we might forgive those

• Who have sinned against us

• Just as our Savior forgave us

• For sinning against Him

LET’S GO INTO THIS TIME OF COMMUNION

• Realizing everything that Jesus means

• And everything He has done

• So that we might someday

• Share a space in heaven with Him
