• How many times

• Do you think

• We have failed Jesus ?

WE AREN’T ALONE

• At the Last Supper

• Jesus was going to show

• How to be a humble  &  Godly servant

HE WAS GOING TO

• Wash the disciple’s feet

• And  in JOHN 13:8 –  Peter said … ‘You shall never wash MY feet!’

PETER DIDN’T UNDERSTAND

• And because he didn’t understand,

• His actions failed

• To be what Jesus wanted them to be

WHEN JESUS AROSE FROM THE DEAD

• He saw the disciples on a beach

• He asked Peter 3 times if Peter loved Him

He did that

• so Peter would understand

• Jesus still loved him

• And was going to restore him

HOW MANY TIMES

• Have have failed Jesus

• Because we didn’t understand ?

WE NEEDN'T FEEL BADLY -

• Jesus has the same message for us today

• That He had for Peter

• He loves us  &   wants to restore us

AND THAT IS THE MESSAGE

• We remember each Sunday

• During the time of Communion
