‘Listen!  I stand at the door and knock – if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into his house and eat with him and he with me.’

‘I have wanted so much to eat this Passover meal with you before I suffer.’

HERE IS THE PICTURE …

• Jesus went to the upper room to eat

• He wanted to be with the disciples

• During this Passover celebration

AND JUST AS HE CAME TO THE UPPER ROOM

• To be with His disciples then

• Jesus comes to our door today

• And He knocks

• Because He wants to be with us, too

IF YOU ARE HERE TODAY

• It is because you have heard His knock

• And have answered the door

JESUS LOVES THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN HIM

• And he loves those who do not

• He reached out to everyone

• In hopes that they, too, will know Him

• And remember what He has done for them

SO LET US DO TWO THINGS AT THIS TABLE

• Let us rejoice in the knowledge that we are His

• And let us also reach out

• Reach out in His name

• To those who do not yet know Him

• For His Name’s sake
