• In which to describe different people
• Some may be nice  -  some may be mean
• Some are tall  -  some are short

AND THERE ARE MANY WAYS

• In which to describe the same person
• He might be funny at times
• And he might be sad at other times

AND SO WE FIND MANY WAYS

• In which to describe our Jesus
• In REV. 5:5 – He is called the ‘Lion’
• In the very next verse, He’s called a ‘Lamb’

RATHER THAN LETTING HIM BE

• All that He came to us to be
• We try to put Christ in a box
• We only let Him be what we want at the time

AND WE TRY TO KEEP HIM IN THE BOX

• Only letting Him out
• When it is convenient to us
• Instead of letting Him out so He can rule our lives

EVEN DURING COMMUNION

• We see Christ in various ways
• The bread represents His broken body
• The drink represents His spilled blood

HE CAME TO US

• To be all we ever needed
• So let us remember Him that way
• As we partake of these emblems today
