AND SO IT IS
WITH THE EMBLEMS OF COMMUNION
- As
we eat of the bread
- We
might hear Jesus say,
This
should remind you that I was stretched out upon the cross,
giving my body up for your sake.
Please eat this and remember my death until I come again.
AND AS WE DRINK
OF THE JUICE
- We
might hear Jesus telling us,
This
should remind you that I lost my life’s blood that I gave up
so that you could become sinless in it. Drink and remember how much I love you, and that I will come
back for you.
