• There is no light
• It is total, absolute darkness

SCIENTISTS SAY

• If people are in that kind of darkness
• For a few days, they will begin to lose their eyesight
• In a few weeks time, they will go insane

WHAT A HORRID THOUGHT!

• It is a thought none of us want to think about
• Yet as afraid of the dark as we are
• Most of humanity is running towards it

MANKIND SPENDS ITS LIFE

• Asking God to leave it alone
• They don’t want to go to church
• They don’t want to hear the Word

AND GOD LEAVES THEM ALONE

• But the problem with being left alone
• Or living without God
• Is that you are headed towards that darkness

IT WOULD SEEM THAT

• As afraid of the dark as we are
• We are even more afraid of the light
• The light of Jesus Christ

APART FROM GOD

• Or living with God
• Going insane in total darkness
• Or loving in total light

AS WE GO INTO THIS COMMUNION

• It is an ideal time to assess where we are headed
• And to begin worshiping the Lord Jesus
• Though a totally humbled heart

JESUS SAID,

‘I am the Light of the world.  He who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will walk in the Light, which is eternal life.’
