IN EVERY BLACKSMITH SHOP

• There are 3 types of tools

THE TOOLS IN THE CORNER

• Forgotten, useless, old and broken

• They sit covered by cobwebs

• And the blacksmith cannot use them

 THEN THERE ARE THE TOOLS ON THE ANVIL

• They are being melted down

• And changed from their original shapes

• Into new shapes and new tools

AND THERE ARE TOOLS

• That have already been reshaped

• They are being used

• To complete the blacksmith’s will

THE KINGDOM OF GOD

• Is like the blacksmith shop

• And all of us

• Are like those kinds of tools

SOME OF US

• Feel old and broken

• We are useless and forgotten

• And in need of repair

STILL, OTHERS ARE ON THE ANVIL

• We are being changed

• Forged into a new life

• Where we will be useful and needed

IT MIGHT BE DIFFICULT

• To be refined in the fire

• But the end result is one

• That is of Godly proportions

AND SOME OF US

• Have already gone through that process

• And are being used by the Master

• To complete His plans

HOW DO WE GET FROM ONE STEP TO ANOTHER ?

• By allowing ourselves

• To be picked up by the Master – Jesus Christ

WHEN OUR HEARTS ARE READY

• To receive His love

• We will then be used

• To give Him glory

JESUS CAME TO EARTH

• To give all of us the chance

• To become transformed into something new

HE DIED IN OUR PLACE

• And He will soon be coming back

WE NOW MUST DECIDE

• Which tool we are

• And if we want to be used by Him

WHAT BETTER TIME TO DECIDE

• Than right now

AS WE GO INTO COMMUNION

• Let us remember what He did for us

• And what He still wants to do for us

• And let us decide

• What we want to do for Him
