• Entitled, “The Zoo”
• It was not about the zoo
• but about two men who lived near the zoo

THEY WERE EVIL MEN

• these men acted like animals
• and finally, one stabbed the other to death

WE ARE ABOUT TO TAKE COMMUNION

• Communion is a remembrance
• Of our Lord,  Jesus Christ

IT IS IN THIS COMMUNION THAT WE COMMEMORATE

• The horror He went thru

• At the hands of men

• Who also acted like animals

PSALM 22:13

Roaring lions tearing their pray, open their mouths wide against me

PSALM 22:16

Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men encircle me; they have pierced my hands and my feet

WE DESERVED THE ANGUISH

• and He did not
• we deserved to die, and He did not
• But because He loved us so much
• He stood in our place

IF WE REMEMBER BUT ONE THING

• Remember that He did that
• Because He wanted us near Him
• He really does love us ….. that much
