• Thought this woman was crazy
• She talked to Jesus in public
• And claimed He talked back to her

A NEW PASTOR CAME TO TOWN

• He heard about her
• And went to visit her
• In hopes of setting her straight

NOTHING HE SAID

• Seemed to have any impact on her
• Finally he asked her
• If she could ask Jesus something for him

HE SAID TO ASK JESUS

• What the last sin was
• He had ever committed

OUT LOUD, SHE ASKED JESUS

• And then turned to the pastor
• And said, “Jesus said – He couldn’t remember!”

WHEN WE CHOOSE

• To follow Jesus
• He cleanses us from our sin
• And then He can’t remember them anymore

AND THAT IS WHAT WE DO

• When we approach this time of communion
• We remember the righteousness of Jesus
• And forget all we wanted in the world

WE REMEMBER JESUS

• Because He is the only avenue
• We have that will lead us to heaven
