EVERY TIME WE
PARTAKE OF COMMUNION
-
We
make a very bold statement
-
We
proclaim God to each other
-
To
the world, and to the
-
Powers
of principalities of hell itself
-
That
Jesus Christ arose from the grave
-
And
ascended into heaven
AND WE BOLDLY
STATE SOMETHING ELSE
-
We
tell of a salvation that is ONLY possible
-
Through
a Savior named Jesus
-
And
it is available nowhere else - period!
MANY CHRISTIANS
MAKE THE MISTAKE
-
Of
believing that how they feel at any given time
-
Is
the indicator of where they stand spiritually
-
That
is the wrong way to look at it
THE TRUTH OF THE
LIVING GOD
-
Is
constant, and does not depend
-
On
how we might feel from day to day
-
So
we can rejoice in our victory
-
Even
when we don’t necessarily “feel” victorious
WE DO NOT COME TO
THIS TABLE
-
To
profess how we feel about Jesus
-
But
to profess how much we need Jesus
-
Knowing
we are not worthy
-
But
that we are loved
JESUS SAID TO
REMEMBER HIM AS WE EAT AND DRINK
-
We
cannot remember someone whom
-
We
have never experienced
-
And
so, as He invites us to His supper
-
Let
us seek His presence in our lives
LET US PRAY
