COMMUNION IS A TIME OF UNITY IN CHRIST

• It is here that we proclaim Jesus as our Lord

• That it is He who feeds us spiritually

• And it is He whom we depend upon in our hunger

AS WE SHARE COMMUNION

• The benefits of Christ's death

• Are made real to us

• And we proclaim our unity with one another in Christ

This is a celebration of remembrance

• Not so Jesus can remember us

• But that we might remember Him

JOHN 14:3, Jesus said

‘And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be where I am.  You know the way to the place I Am going.’

TODAY, LET US PARTAKE TOGETHER

• As one body of believers

• United in Christ

JESUS BROKE THE BREAD & GAVE THANKS

• And said, “Do this in remembrance of Me”

And He took the cup saying,

• “Do this likewise, in remembrance of Me’

SHUT THE WORLD OUT

• As we take these emblems

• So that we can better remember our Savior
